Default Hat badge & Officers Rank Badges

    Good day folks

What can you tell me about these sets of rank stars and the hat eagle.

I think the hat eagle is either repaired with a screw post or perhaps is intact but has just lost the spinner.

What about the rank badges? Are any of them Polish?

    Many thanks

    James

    Hi James,

There was no single official rank star and any of those could have been used. Although some are more commonly encountered than others, such as the aluminum ones with cap screws. This type is of Italian origin, and the cap screws are often maker marked “Bomisa”. But non-marked ones exist as well.

As far as the eagle, the nut is not period. The eagle looks OK though.

Should I expect to see these on ebay soon??

    Cheers,
    T.

    Hi Tony

    Many thanks for your reply.

I would like to offer them to the group before I post them on eBay. I don't suppose the hat eagle will be of interest but someone may want some rank badges so I'm open to offers.

    Regards

    James
