Jozef Fiszer and some medals

I'm trying to find out some information about Jozef Fiszer, born 24 Nov 1913 at Kurnos near Lodz. I believe he served with the 25th Infantry Regiment during the invasion of Poland and was captured near Lublin on 20 Sep 1939.

It is then thought that he was conscripted into the German Army 1 Apr 1943 before being captured outside Verona on 11 April 1945. Is it possible to find out anything about his service with the Germans?

It is believed that he enlisted into the PSZ in Italy in Sep 1945. Again any way of finding out which Regiment?

He then settled in the north of England.

Attached is a photo of the medals that are supposed to be his but I suspect not. Wrong ribbon on the Polish War Medal and two minis. I expect he picked them up later. He was a very active veterans club member in Preston till his death.
