It was a rather nice surprise and they are still working, I wonder what their Archives hold with regards to production of Polish Badges etc.

Yes !!!! They do.
They have many of the original dies in the celler by all accounts.

I did actually talk to the "Kirkwood" on the Antiques roadshow via the telephone somes years back, and I believe the dies will at some point be heading to the Scottish National Museum.

Also, they do I believe, hold many original copies of orders and receipts !!!!! (A classic Scottish company).
