    Probably you've already heard this sad news, but I think it should be announced here. Brigadier General Tadeusz Sawicz died on October 19 in Canada at the age of 97. He took part in the Battle of Britain with No. 303 Polish Fighter Squadron. This is the end of a particular chapter in our history...

    I regret to inform you, that another Polish WW2 pilot died on September 26 in Zielona Góra, Poland, namely lieutenat colonel Edward Jaworski, VM 5th class, DFC, aged 92. He served with a few Squadrons, No. 605, 315, 317, 308 respectively. Here are some articles on LTC Jaworski in Polish: Obro , Zmar .
