    Hello All,

I thought I would finally make my contribution to this thread. The first three with black frames are ones I've had for a few years now. Two have a KW (Knedler type 1 and 2, respectively) and photos of the same group of officers on horseback. The larger black framed one is with my VM #676 and a photo of lancers in Minsk-Mazowiecki circa 1919.

The rest are all new additions I got back from the restorer today! I found a husband-wife team that does restoration and framing work for museums and auction houses in Warsaw. The first two are the Patent Oficerski and Artillery Diploma from 1921 for the same officer. The others include the KN with diploma and booklet (I do have the tube in perfect condition, but didn't want to frame it), the 10-year long service medal with diploma for an infantry captain, and the diplomas for all three classes of the KZ (only the silver is for military service - same officer as the diplomas).

As you can tell, my focus is pure IIRP. Next step is to hang them!

    Cheers,

    Brandon

    Hi Brandon,

    A really great display,

I thought that you might like to know a little bit of information on Jan Obierski,

Date of Birth: 16th December 1899

1924 & 1932 Rocznik Oficerski list him as having been awarded the Cross of Valor / Krzyz Walecznych,

He was made Porucznik 1-go Czerwca 1921,

1924 Rocznik Oficerski lists him as being a Porucznicy 7 Pulk Artylerji Ciezkiej, whist in 1932 he is still a Porucznik but now serving in the 12 Pulk Artylerji Lekkiej.

I hope that the above information is of some use and help.

Apologies if you already know the above information

    Best wishes

    Andrew
