First time I have seen this award as part of Polish medals group. Were many awarded to Polish forces in Italy?
It wasnít too common, although I donít have an exact tally, nor do I know the exact circumstances that qualified some Poles and not others to receive this award.

Hereís a ribbon bar from a BD tunic owned by a Polish MP (Żandarmeria) that was awarded this cross.

    Tony

    Hey Itakdalej

Really like the 4th Skorpion Armored Regiment cross document. Do you have the cross as well, do you know the family of the owner? Did a little research about the fellow.

    Cierniak Wladyslaw
    No. 2 Squadron
    KPMC (Cross of Monte Cassino)
    Listed as wounded.

I was given these and some other documents as part of a trade. I will be posting some other ones soon. No I do not have the badge, and I don't know the family.
