First time I have seen this award as part of Polish medals group. Were many awarded to Polish forces in Italy?

It wasn’t too common, although I don’t have an exact tally, nor do I know the exact circumstances that qualified some Poles and not others to receive this award.

Here’s a ribbon bar from a BD tunic owned by a Polish MP (Żandarmeria) that was awarded this cross.

Really like the 4th Skorpion Armored Regiment cross document. Do you have the cross as well, do you know the family of the owner? Did a little research about the fellow.
