    It's a pleasure to share, James. IMHO none of this is of any use just simply sitting in boxes on my loft - it needs to be shown and appreciated.

    Thanks for the ID on the badge Michal. In that case, it must be something that belonged to my dad.

    And now for something *completely* different... One minature plaque, a lapel pin and a badge relating to Marshal Pilsudski along with two photos - again, all found in a box of random bits. Apologies for the cat hairs in some of the images. They are courtesy of Poppy, my lovely tortie assistant.

    The miniature plaque. It's about the size of two fingernails, so the text on it is almost impossible to read. Unfortunately I don't have a jeweller's loupe...

    Could you please send closer pictures of the patch collars and and the black left shoulder ?
    About the breast badge, could you send picture also of the reverse and the nut ?
    I appreciate a lot ! One of the last regiment's uniform I am looking for.
