Looking for info on Alfons Brozdowski 30195351 , I picked up these items on the fea market today and if anyone can help looking for more info on the guy like what unit he was in between 1939-45 and what awards he won, Thank you for any help in this matter

Hello Kradman,

Many thanks for your post and a nice find the Number on his Service Book 30195351 is his Polish Resettlement Corps Number, I hope you do not mind me rotating one of your photographs shown below.



This shows that he served on the Polish Navy from 3rd February 1939- 1st April 1947, the PISM in London should have his Service Record, so either a visit or a £25.00p Fee to look for it with no guarantee of finding anything. If you decide to visit then you must ring to book a seat in the reading room.

Hello Kradman,

I have been searching for Alfons Aleksander Brozdowski and I have found the following during WW2 he was a Starszy Marynarz = Able Bodied Seaman, also that when his death was registered in Southampton in 1999 his name was spelt Alphonse Aleksander Brozdowski.

That is all that I have been able to find for you on this individual, the Polish Navy unfortunately is not my Forte.
