I'm trying to find out which medals I would need to try and buy to finish off the wall collection of my grandfather. I have the British medals that he claimed but not any of the Polish ones that were issued up until 2000 ish. On his documents it states 122 police platoon in Poland at the start of the war. Service in France in 1940 with 1 D.A.L ( which unit that was attached to I have not idea) then off to Scotland before going through France 1944-45. I know that there are Polish government and commemorative medals for sale on line but don't know which are correct.
