    Hello Fran & Others

He will write about searches in the archives in Poland about our grandparents what they were defending Poland.
For 10 years of searching and writing to various institutions, there was always the same answer, no documents.
Because as my ,,DZIADEK" was still alive, he told me about 1939 and thanks to his story I finally found what I was looking for so many years:

    Monte Cassino Cross

    Monte Cassino Cross

    Monte Cassino Cross

    Monte Cassino Cross

Grandfather's Unit 3 squadron of pioneers;Wielkopolska Cavalry Brigade, Poznań Army: general Kutrzeba. He was promoted to the rank wachmistrz in the battlefield. Taken prisoner of war near Warsaw on September 21, 1939. Stand II A Neubrandenbur. Prisoner number 13301. Released 1941-08-27 transferred for the status of civilian worker.
    The second family was here:

    Monte Cassino Cross

To sum up all this I will write like this: KRZYWDA 1939 we remember !!!

    Monte Cassino Cross
