Many thanks for your instant respoonse and the identification!!!! It is very kind of you
Have you tried posting your question on the Facebook page WW2 - POLSKI 2 KORPUS?
My Uncles collection. He is buried at Lorreto Italy after the Battle of Monte Cassino and Ancona.....all documentation
Firstly I would like to welcome you to the forum and secondly congratulate you on a nice display, I sincerely hope that you do not mind me pointing out that the British 1939-1945 Star ribbon is mounted the wrong way. I have attached a photograph of how it should appear for you below:
1939-1945 Star (Obverse)
I also noticed that your 1939-1945 Medal and the Defence Medal are both showing the reverse side of each when they should be shown as below:
Defence Medal (Obverse)
1939-1945 War Medal (Obverse)
The last 2 have been mounted in the incorrect order, your Uncles awards should be as follows :
1) Cross of Valour 1939-1945
2) Medal Wojsko (Army Medal)
3) Monte Cassino Cross
4) British 1939-1945 Star
5) British Italy Star
6) British Defence Medal
7) British 1939-1945 War Medal
Once again Markkus I sincerely hope that you do not mind me pointing out the above.
p.s. If you have any questions please feel free to ask and we will do our best to answer them.
