Hello,Tony.,,One of many"-copy MCC number 36430 was sold in allegro:1-11-10 for 100 zlotys.Probably not the only copy of this cross.Often put on ebay.Frequent copies are often made on auctions of numbers:6025,12397,39961.

Many thanks for your post unfortunately MCC 27306 was not awarded to Plut Marian Pilaczynski but when awarded the recipients details were as follows:

Rank : Strzelec

Surname : Wiktorek

Christian Name : Jan

Fathers Name : Stanisław

Date of Birth : 1905

Army Number : (also found on His ID Tags) : 1905-86-III

Unit : 5KZaopat.

Arrested by the soviets in Chelm on the 25th September 1939 he joined the Anders Army at Tockoje on the 2nd September 1941.
