    Hello
    Dear Andrzejku
Is it possible to describe numbers MCCrosses, rank and army number two soldiers:
1.Wincenty KOZARCZUK, son of Wojciech and Magdalena, born May 21, 1905 in New Majdan, Wojsławice commune, Krasnystaw district. The State Junior High School graduated in Ostrog, formerly known as Zdolbunow, Volhynia, graduated in 1928.
Then in the fall he joined the Infantry Cadet School in Ostrow - Komorow, which he graduated in 1930 and later served in the army, in Equal to 1932. In the meantime, he was also involved in teaching at school.
When the war broke out, in 1940 he was arrested by the Soviets and sentenced to four years in prison in the USSR, where he remained until March 23, 1942. When the 2nd Corps of the Polish Army was created, he joined his ranks. We do not know what military rank he was, but he certainly had some rank, because he was platoon leader, he fought for Monte Casino, Hill 593, where he was seriously wounded, had injured left hand.
He returned to Poland in August 1946 and worked as an official in Gdansk. To Hrubieszow, we do not know his exact date of return, but probably arrived in the mid-fifties. He lived alone on Gęsia Street, then on the Liberation and died there on November 1, 1974.He had many decorations and was decorated by Queen Elisabeth. His tombstone in the cemetery is waiting for renewal, with the support of the Combatants of 2nd Corps in New York.
