andrej, again thanks for your reply, how did you find dads actual number as oppsed to the british number, no offence , just so i can double check before i get this engraving done again ( done it twice already, where someone that knows what they are doing has corrected me, seeing as i know absolutly nothing ,unbelievable i have actually found references to when he was sent to siberia with mother and sister, but i,m an absolute amateur where all this is concerned. i tried to apply for the siberia exile cross but was told that he died before 2004 so was not eligable, sad really , survived siberia, ww2, and resettlement in a foriegn country but couldnt be recognised cos died too early
