May I welcome you to the Forum and at the same time thank you for your post on your Uncle, there were 2 Bolesław Bułaj awarded the Monte Cassino Cross.

1) Saper Bolesław Bugaj, Born 1907, Army Number (also found on His ID tags) : 1907-151-III, Unit : 10 Kompania Mostowa, MCC Nr : 39737

2) Ppor. Bolesław Bugaj, Born 1910, Army Number : 1910-253-III, Unit 13BS, 5KDP MCC Nr : 15458.

The photograph that I posted was of Ppor. Bolesław Bugaj.

Monte Cassino Crosses currently on display at Monte Cassino, the Legitymacja of the left was awarded to Ppor. Stefan Drouet, 1913-4-III, 3KPAL, MCC Numbered 1237.

Then the Legitymacja Numbered 39356 awarded to Saper Antoni Ościłowski, 1905-14-III, Unit 10BSK, MCC Numbered 39356.
