    Many thanks for your post requesting information on the following what I have been able to find follows:

    !) Wlodzimierz RABIZO

    Rank : Kanonier (Artilleryman)

    Surname : RABIZO

    Christian Name : Wlodzimierz

    Date of Birth : 1910

    Army Number : (also found on His ID Tags) : 1910-108-III

    MCC : 20457

    Unit : 4PAL

    2) Mikolaj SUDZICKI

    Deported from Tarnopolska in 1940 the son of Piotr, not listed with a date of Birth 1898.

    The only Mikolaj Sudzicki listed was born in 1925 (might be is son) St.Strzelec (Lance Corporal) Army Number : 1925-26-III MCC 12544 Unit : 2BSK, awarded the KW killed 3rd July 1944.

    3) Wasilij Wrublewski (1919)

    Unfortunately No listing for a WRUBLEWSKI or a WROBLEWSKI, apologies for not being able to assist you further with your request.

    Sorry I hadn't realised you had replied - sorry!
    Yes, he did live in Glossop. I didn't realise all the information about where he passed away and probate was in the public domain. Fascinating.
    Also, amazing photos you have managed to source.

    Many thanks for your post regarding information on the Recipient of the MCC Nr: 16234 when awarded the recipient's details were as follows:

    Rank: Podporucznik (2nd Lieutenant)

    Surname: WASZKIEWICZ

    Christian Name: Jozef

    Date of Birth : 18th October 1906

    Army Number : (also found on His ID Tags) : 1906-70-III

    Unit : 14 Baon Strzelec (14th Rifle Battalion, 5th Kresowa Infantry Division, 2nd Corps)

    After the end of the war Jozef came to the UK with his Battalion and married Gabriela Maria Moczko in 1948 in Weobley in Herefordshie, Jozef died in 1995 aged 88 in Trafford, Cheshire.

    Gabriela Maria (Born in 1928) died 31st May 2010 aged 82.

    That is all that I was able to find for you, I sincerely hope that it is of some help and use to you.

    May I be the first to welcome you to the War Relics Forum, with regards to information on the recipient of the Monte Cassino Cross Nr : 32181 when awarded his details were as follows :

    Rank : Strzelec (Rifleman)

    Surname : LEWKOWICZ

    Christian Name : MICHAL

    Date of Birth : 1920

    Army Number : (also found on His ID Tags ) : 1920-65-!!!

    Unit : z 9 Wysunietego Szwadronu Destawy Czolgow (9th Tank Replacement Squadron, 2nd Armoured Brigade)

    I could not find a record for him on index of victims of soviet repression, but was able to glean the following from Ancestry after the war he came to the UK and in 1952 left Liverpool onboard the Cunard ship the Ascania bound for Canada arriving in Montreal on the 31st July 1952.

    Michal settled in Calgary and worked as a Cement Finisher he died n 1984 and was buried in Queens Park Roman Catholic Cemetery in Calgary.

    That is all that I was able to find, I sincerely hope that it is of some use and help to you.

    Actually, I was looking just a confirmation that the cross belonged to that person.
    I also know that he has been moved from 9 Wysunietego Szwadronu Dostawy Czolgow (9th Tank Replacement Squadron, 2nd Armoured Brigade) to the 6 Pulk Pancerny (6th Armoured Regiment, 2nd Armoured Brigade) in 1944.
    He got also the Cross of Valour.
    I have, however, other information about what was happened with him after the war. Where did you find this information? From what I know, he returned to Poland, to his family. I confirm that he died in 1984.
    I'm looking for all possible information about this person.
