Station 43: Audley End House and SOE's Polish Section: Amazon.co.uk: Ian Valentine: Books

FYI, ( don't you just hate those abbrev's ) early wing, brass, oxidised finish with nickel spinner. attributed to Second Lieutenant Julian Iwanicki, 1st Polish Parachute Brigade and Cichciemny. his brother, Andrzej who was a Captain was one of the first Silent and Unseen to be parachute trained. other specialist training was carried out at Audley End, the regime run by Jozef Hartman

I found this grave in Pennsylvania at the Armed Forces Section of the cemetery at The Shrine of Our Lady of Czestochowa. I do not know if this is the grave of the soldier whose badge I have, but can anyone tell me if soldiers in the Army Infantry were members of the Cicho Ciemni?

    Hello
Hard to say - Cichociemny Julian Iwanicki was an officer - at least Lieutenant. Here we have a corporal(?)
Cichociemni came from different branches and specilalities- Army, Air Force, Navy.
Lt Iwanicki which para badge you have was fully trained as Cichociemny but finally didn't jump into occupied Poland.
