That photo comes from the "shipping pass" issued to Polish troops returning from BAOR duty in Germany.
Should be dated 1947 possibly "Hull " on the reverse side of the paper.

Attached is a photo of Lt., later promoted to Captain, Wolny in his battle dress, as well as a summary of where he fought..
As for permission to post in other blogs, I will have to ask his permission to do so. This might take a while and he is not well.

That's the first non field/general grade officer tunic I've seen with a CdG ribbon. Very nice tunic... Do you know what action resulted in the awarding of this CdG?

I dont think it was so uncommon..
and was awarded to all the unit members..
another 1st armrd BD from another officer also has one
