    Default Polish battledress

    Hello,

I am looking for more information on this battledress of a polish soldier.
Searching on the internet I came across this forum where I've found some information on the polish army in the UK.
But I'm still not sure what unit this BD is from

    Canadian made battledress:
    - black epaulet = typical polish?
    - rank: 2 stripes = corporal?
    - open collar = officer
    - black lanyard (officers model)
    - Red / black pennans ==> pioneer corps?
    - Bullion Poland titles
    - ribbon bar: ? , ? , ? , France and germany star, defence medal, 39-45 star, defence medal

    Black Beret:
    - original eagle?

I hope you guys can tell me some more about this BD
And what would be its value?

    Regards Stef

Please don't use imageshack or similar. The pictures will disappear one day, and we are left with a useless thread.

And welcome to the forum, I am sure someone will be able to help you!

Took the liberty, to attach the photos from imageshack.

    Hello,
This BD is original in my opinion.
Of course, the ideal is to touvh it in hands, but I feel it. Really.
It is from the engeeners company.
    A very good item !

    Hello ZP

thank you for your comment. This set is from a friend of mine I will ask him if you may post it on your blog.

do you have more information about the engineers company?

Did they wore a formation badge? or only the collar pennants and the poland titles?

Is the eagle of the beret (plastic version) also good?

What would the value of this set be? (jacket + trousers + beret) It is not for sale but he wants to know if he paid a correct price.

    Regards Stef

    Welcome Stef .....
Check the back of the plastic cap badge.
It should read "Stanley and Sons" ...

    Thanks for the reply Gary!
I told my friend to check the back of the badge!

Are there any websites that have more information on polish engineers in ww2?
I can't find much about them.

I've noticed a lot of Polish uniforms have extra "regimental"? badges on their pockets did the engineers have one too?

    Hello,
There were no "regimental" breast badge for the engineers companies in the polish division.
But, it was possible for these men to wear the polish armored qualification breast badge...
