Polish Hat Eagles

Article about: In my opinion this particular cap eagle was made by G.J. Garratt Toronto. Very unique, hard to find.

    Thank You Tony
    Very helpful.
I have to say - I have never seen this Badge / Eagle.
Now - I have also been told that a book on Junak's school (published in London in 80ts) features the pictures showing the Eagle / Badge in use. I will post scans when I get the book (hopefully soon).

Interestingly again - the originally posted Eagle has the crown cut-off. It Is intriguing - as with many PSZ Eagles where various alterations had been made, such as - removal of Leganes's shield and / of a crown. Looks like political sentiments / emotions had been present at the time.

Just acquired this hat eagle, not sure period or authenticity.

Brass with two prongs and looks unworn, measures 61mm from tip of right wing to bottom.

    Regards
    Stefan
