Fellows,
It looks like it now can definitely be confirmed that Scully (Canadian made Eagle) was used by high ranking officers of 1 Polish Independent Para Brigade.
Also in terms of timing, pictures must have been taken in or/ before 43 as some of the featured officers , like - szydlowski an cemplak went to command infantry battalions of 1st Armoured Division.
Fellows,
I think t this post is the appropriate measure to celebrate upcoming 600,000 visits - to the Eagle's Forum.
Finally found - one of the rarest Polish WW2 Eagle - Polish Red Cross (military branch). Eagle made in France 39/40.
It does not get better than this - when it come to Polish WW2 Eagles!
Sikorski's collection.
Fellows,
I am very happy to share with you this picture - that i believe is one of the best and most relevant i have ever taken - while hunting for Eagles.
Ceremonial Sword of Ambassador / Foreigh Secreatry - Tadeusz Ludwik Romer, very distinguish diplomat who assisted Polish Government on Exile on various occasions.
