General Broni Kazimierz Sosnkowski awarding the Silver Cross Virtuti Militari to ?

I have found 4 officers awarded the VM from the Commando Company also awarded the Monte Cassino Cross they are as follows:

1)Ppor. sp. Adam Bachleda VM Nr: 11236

2)Por. Andrzej Czynski VM Nr 8532

3) Ppor. sp. Stanisław Pałach VM 10289

4) Ppor. Wiktor Rzemieniecki VM 10232

Perhaps one of the other Forum members can help identify this officer for us.

I believe that to be Ppor Wiktor Rzemieniecki, VM 10232. He was only Officer decorated with VM 5th class that day. There was posthumous award of VM 5th Class to Ppor Palach , And Ppor Bachleda. Also Major Smrokowski was decorated VM 4th Class that day. I am referring to date 7/31/1944, and 8/3 1944. Also Corporal Braulinski was given his VM and KW x 2 posthumously.

Hey everyone, I am new to the group, and fanatically excited to have you all.

I am hoping you can help me determine if the following photograph of my grandfather, is in fact a Polish Cap brass!
I do not have the badge, but I am a WW2 enthousiast, and I am trying to find my roots, as my grandparents never spoke of their time in Poland or Germany.

Yes, it is! I can see a nice Polish eagle hat badge in the photo By the way, do you know where the photo was taken? I may be wrong but judging by the bike it was taken in Allied-occupied Germany. The bike looks to me like a pre-war NSU OSL 351.

99th anniversary of Poland's restoration

Today is the 99th anniversary of regaining by the Polish nation independent state.
The restoration of Poland's independence was gradual, but the November 11 date is the one on which Józef Piłsudski was appointed Commander in Chief by the Regency Council and was entrusted with creating a national government for the restored Polish State.
