Article about: In my opinion this particular cap eagle was made by G.J. Garratt Toronto. Very unique, hard to find.

Simply put, no provenance = no purchase. This is my rule for all Adrian and Mk.II helmets bearing Polish insignia. The fakers have gotten very good at their craft.

An upcoming desa auction in Krakow - features a very interesting Eagle. Variant we have discussed previously

Description states - some very interesting "information"

    1. The product of the French company Alavoine.

    This variant is very rare.
However, I have to say that both - hypothesis, 1 and 2 above, are new to me!

Finally, I have managed to get quality pictures +context materials re the Eagle / Badge - of the 1st Corp of Gen Musnicki - formed in Russia during the WW1 to support the fight for Polish "State". This Eagle / its design is believed to inspire the family of WW2 Polish Exile Eagles - starting form French Aloviane in 1939.
