Is it possible to see more pictures of the naval cap? Are there any markings on the lining?
Hi Mariusz, one of the rare survivors. Congratulations once again on your acquisition. Yours has the Wm. Scully (Montreal) eagle badge. The sweatbands on these were made of a synthetic almost paperlike type leather that just did not stand the test of time. I can see evidence in the photos that yours is crumbling, as is the sweatband on mine. But otherwise the hat appears to be in super condition.

Expanding on the glimpse offered in post #51, here in its entirely is the bilingual Polish/English promotional publication for the recruitment effort, published by the HQ of the Polish Armed Forces in Canada in Windsor Ontario in 1941. Artwork throughout is by Marian Walentynowicz, mentioned several time previously in this thread.
