Polish pilot observer - badge or something else? genuine or fake?

I would be most grateful for insights and opinions on this 'badge'. Is it a genuine wartime item? and is it a badge to be worn or it has some other purpose?

It is in the form of Polish Air Force pilot observer's wings. However, it is much larger than actual wings badges, at 14 x 8.5cm, compared to the usual 6.5 x 4cm. Also, it is made of solid construction, with no makers mark and screw back.

If it's cheap buy it as an off chance as being theatre made , did see this myself , but just didn't like it ...to be sure you would need to examine aging on it...does in my mind look wrong though , quality is poor.
