Hello!
Wadowicznic your 12 PUP pennon;s red varnish look strange! It looks like normal paint, not manufactured.... Can you show more detalis of this pennon?
Best Regards
Michal
its perfectly fine
there were two types of 12PU metal pennons
one with bright paint as the one in the photo
and another with a duller paint..
will seek photos to post
It is a pity these types of pennon badges do not stand up well to handling over the years—sets without any chips are hard to find. Very nice collections though from wadowicznic and dorva...thanks both for sharing such good close-up pictures . When were collar pennons first worn on Polish uniforms?

Just to add to the collection of Collars
Pictures of 318 Supply Company (previouselly posted)

• One of the smallest unit of Polish Free Forces (2 cor)
• Company did not have a breast badge – collar badge that was used on the hats too.
The interesting fact about this Collar / Badge is that it is with the signature stamped on the back "Italy 1944"
