Badge of 22 Supply Company of the 2 Polish Corpus – Wojtek
Probably one of the most sentimental stories associated with Polish Forces on Exile.
A small orphan bear found by Polish Solders when they were evacuating from Soviet Russia, named Wojtek, eventually become a solder with his own pay-book / rations taking parts in battles by bringing munitions. By the end of the war he become a kind of celebrity and books gad been written about him. He died in Edinburgh Zoo after long life anjoing meeting his former colleagues every Sunday and attention of British TV
    Remarkable story

When my late father was with the 3rd Carpathians, .. he actually was foolish enough to wrestle with Wojtek !

    Thank You for the post.
Congratulation it is an absolutely amazing find.
This badge is one of the most difficult to get.
Over years I have seen only 2 examples and have never managed to purchase one.
To add to T’s info below – the maker of this badge is the same as of the Artilery School from the T’s collection
    How did You get it?
Do you have picture of ID?
I actually I do have an ID of this regiment..but sadly not of this same badge..I found the badge in a militaria store in South America....

Can somebody help with the identification? This is my recent acquisition.
Unfortunately I still do not have a Zawistowski’s book here in London.
The material is very hard to bend. I have a number of eagles in my collection but this is the first of this type.
    Perhaps made in Germany?

Default Pre-war Polish Medical Officer's Regimental Badge

I saw and bought this badge which is hopefully a original Polish Army Medical Officer's one. I have included the Front and back views of the regimental badge.

I have a original Medical School badge, I hope that this is a original
regimental badge to go with it.

Is it a original badge from the 1930s ?

Do you know what the initial letters on the badge stand for (which unit of the medical service) ?

Is the back spinner original to the badge ?

    Is it 100% original ?

    Thank You
