Default Polish ship "PIORUN" and transport of DPs

I have a DP identity card two small photos of former Polish DPs holding a board with "PIORUN" sign written on it. Within the group are sailors in uniform but is "PIORUN" likely to be a merchant ship or the Polish Navy destroyer of that name? Was ORP "PIORUN" used as a DP transport ship until it was returned to the Royal navy and renamed HMS Noble in 1946?

Any thoughts most welcome - many thanks in advance

This photo was also in the same small grouping so I assume the men featured in "POLISH CAMP II" include some of the DPs holding the "PIORUN" signboard. Unfortunately no captions on the reverse of the prints.
