Not sure if this one was a variant on the MP's armband, .... although in red and white, this could be purely the national colours ..

    Hello Gary....

I believe that the white on red "POLISH" armband would have been worn by displaced persons during the early occupation period in Germany.

I've just noticed that all the vehicles in the photos have the number 79 marked on them.
This I presume must be the number designation for 1SBS MP company. ?

Hi Gary, I don't have a list of numbers used by the whole Brigade. I will have to check if there was a separate serial codes for each sub unit.

    Cheers, Ade.
