With the tanks of the first Polish armoured division- K.Jamar

Hello everyone,

I have a question to the author(s) from the booklet 'with the tanks of the first Polish armoured division'.

I read that the name from the author (like mentioned on the cover is "K.Jamar); is a combination and nickname of two persons who would have written the book?


The names i found are;

captain Jazdowski and major Marowski.

Can someone confirm this and if true and possible know in witch unit they served?

I believe that major Jan Marowski was in the 24th Lancers.
I didn't know that K. Jamar was not ONE man...

I just found out that captain Jazdowski was commander of the staff squadron of the 2nd armored regiment.

Hello Gents, my understanding was that the author was a single individual. His name escapes me at the moment. I will need to check when back home.

The book is a fascinating chronicle of the division’s trek through western Europe and highly recommended if one can obtain a copy.
