Many thanks for your post, with regards to the owner, the following information comes from the Regimental History published in 1991 in London

Kanonier Tymofiej Romaniuk, Born in 1905, Army Number : 1905-28-III, Unit : 8 Pułk Artylerii Przeciwlotniczej Ciężkiej.

The Regimental History Lists the following Information on him:

Monte Cassino Cross Numbered : 37254

Medal Wojska Legit Numbered : 28868

2nd Corps Badge Legit Numbered (unfortunately only 3 Numbers are listed) : 771

British Awards Legit Numbered : 735

That is all that I have been able to find other than his Death in Derby, Derbyshire, UK in 1993.

Date of Death : 26th November 1993

Place of Death : 5 Mayfair Crescent, Mackworth, Derbyshire,
