Under assumed name in Polish Para Brigade

Some Poles served under assumed names in Polish Forces typically because the Place they were from was under German Occupation and threat of retaliation against their Families was real. Many were forcefully conscripted in the german forces.
Lance Corporal Jan Rydelski was one of them. Born originally in Koronowo, near Bydgoszcz conscripted and served in German Army from 09/10/ 1942 to 07/30/ 1944 when taken POW at St Lo, France, and later volunteering for the Polish Para Brigade.
