Andrzej Pilecki and Zofia Pilecka-Optulowicz were very generous in adding their support of our recent new book The Auschwitz Volunteer: Beyond Bravery which received a great review by Timothy Snyder author of Bloodlands in The New York Times

Any chance of someone recording this discussion and posting it as an .mp3 for download? All that is needed is a digital recording device and a feed off the PA system's board. Then the .mp3 can be uploaded to a file hosting site for download.

A college radio station would have the equipment and the know how to do so. Its not hard at all.

Permission, of course, would be needed to record and take the feed from the PA.

Good to hear. Was anything ever done for Kochanski's talk about her book 'The Eagle Unbowed'?

"Witold Pilecki and the Resistance in Auschwitz"

On Jan. 27, 2012 - International Holocaust Remembrance Day - the Polish Embassy in partnership with the U.S. Holocaust Memorial Museum presented "Witold Pilecki and the Resistance in Auschwitz."

Remarkably this is the very first time that Pilecki's story has featured at any event at the USMM
