I must echo the remarks made by Markus, I dont recall seeing a Paulmann & Crone police buckle, very nice and hard to come by buckle

to complete this thread, here are some pictures of an unfinished ground dug nickel police buckle. Believe me it is nonmagnetic nickel and 100 % period made.

Yes, it was found at a factory area. An unfinished nickel example which was probably never officially introduced and worn. Never saw a finished one from nickel.
