That's why I asked: Can someone proof GGL is indeed Gebr.Gloerfeld from Lüdenscheid??

I have not found proof for it. So, I am looking for written proof and not just "I have
heard". The buckle reverse I showed is from a RAD leader's buckle from about
1939/1940. The reverse not even shows a date nor the regular RLAD sign! So, it just was a question!
"Wir sollen auch unser Leben für die Brüder lassen" (1.Joh.3.16):

Out-of-heart I do not know if Gloerfeld made them with leather tab, they
surely will have. There were concerns that made them already in late 1936
(Overhoff) and about 1937 with tab.

I see this all over in threads.
I ask as they normally did use another marking:

    Attachment 887470 Attachment 887472

This is the marking as shown in their cataloque!
That is a very interesting buckle Wim, did you say that this is advertised in their catalogue?

    Cheers
    Ben
