why not? It's real... and extremely difficult to find

I agree with Ade regarding originality. The finish is lacking what I would expect to find on a genuine gilt eagle. The attachment pin is also different from what I have seen on other genuine examples of removable breast eagles. From the images presented, I would consider this a reproduction.
