Considering the pile of parts it looks like you have a long restoration project ahead of you. I was extemely impressed with the condition of the pistons and connecting rods. Are you able to reuse all of them?
hello Radonovan, yes i was able to reuse al of them, it was a long job but the result might be seen.
thanks anyway for your compliments its well appreciated.
That's great. I'm looking forward to seeing your progress. The Stuka was the very first warbird I took an interest in as a young lad.
It is an interesting site you have cool militaria I wish you every sucess in your project.
Cheers, Ade.
Very intresting Phil! I ran in to some body doing the same job on a Fokker Wulf 190 in Brasschaat.
I worked also for Asco (BMF at the time) for the assembling of armoured personal carriers (M113) at the Henschel factory in Wilrijk.
Quite a collection of blocks.
What's the story?
H
the story of those bloks is that it was in a scrabyard found by a luftwaffe entousiast and bought by him byside jumo there was DB also. now none of them left they are all gone this was found several years ago...
i was wondering from were those were comming , on those bloks it looks like they were once compleet coz we found nuts that were broken off and this on most of them.
