Thank you for showing! I like that the FAD's are just nice buckles, no frills. Good marks to
It has been a good start to the new year on the buckle forum!
I can't see any thread by you with the earlier styles buckles, so now you have to find them!
Nice addition to your collection. I like the markings. I found this FAD in the archives of a German Auction House. It must be the holy grail of FAD buckles. It sold last year for 1520 euros + 17.5 %. There must have been a couple of collector who really wanted it. I would love to run across one of these.
This is one I have not seen before... Curious !! G

Your the man to appreciate this buckle.
Wow! That's a buckle we need more info about if there is someone who knows more.
I must ask; I've now seen two different Assmann marks on FAD's on those Gorgeous G has showed us, are there a third and fourth out there to collect?
Hello,

But most of this are seldom seen ........

The shown buckle was mentioned in a leaflet from Paulmann & Crone from July 1933.
The leaflet mentions that at that moment there was not yet an official AD-buckle. The leaflet
is also shown in Angolia, but actually came from the files from Hugh-Page Taylor, who
supplied me with it in the 1970's.
