The infamous Dr. Franke
I quite like Dr. Franke und Co. K.G. (Lüdenscheid) as perhaps like Berg und Nolte AG (Lüdenscheid), they seemed on occasions to be remarkably free spirited to regulations relating to NSDAP buckle manufacturers. That is bless them, a euphemism for totally ignoring them !
It is quite unusual (I think) to see a one piece die stamped aluminium RAD buckle (non RZM of course), without a date. Perhaps I am wrong.
Here are images of a truly dreadful, tired and distressed condition RAD by The Doctor and of course, without a date.
Does any person on the forum have a Franke RAD to show ?

David

Re: The infamous Dr. Franke
Ben, I would dearly like to see one of these Franke RAD's in good condition. Perhaps one may appear, we never know.

Re: The infamous Dr. Franke
On reflection David, I have not seen many Dr Franke RAD buckles!

Re: The infamous Dr. Franke
That is very interesting Ben.
RAD's with Dr. F & Co. raised on the lip of the buckle or instead, the Franke company logo (in a circle) ?

David

David, I have amended my text, it should have read "Not"
