This is a recent find of a Private purchase or parade RaD buckle.
These were ( to my knowledge ) never "Tabbed" thus eluding to the actual maker.
However cretain manufacturing traits and processes left clues as to probable
makers... The prong curves for example

Gwar, another nice find, in reference to the prongs they look like the OLT type prongs found on fakes (this is not a fake BTW) Early Assmann buckles had this trait and Berge & Nolte used these types of prongs. There is also the option that the prongs were bought in from another manufacturer.

Yes Ben... As you had previously stated in a past thread... The more I handle
the more I may learn. Certain characteristics point in directions that may suggest that a select few
Ludenshied buckle makers may have had a source of materials common to them.
Is it plausible that during the course of manufature, That, perhaps a former employee may have went
to work for a competitor and brought along some knowledge of production procedures
    or new processes ?
P.S. The pebbling is quite different to most I have seen...
I am going to study the different schemes of this aspect too...

Nice one Gwar, and certainly different on the backside than my RAD - PP OLC.

Nice buckle, Gwar! Private purchase buckles are underappreciated, in my opinion.

Ben, could this be an early Assman buckle if it doesn't have the typical prong bar crimp?

    My newest pick up.
    A private purchase Rad buckle.
I have read though that these are harder to find.
I find them occasionally, I think what others may mean is finding
the different variants of these buckles...Happy 4th of July.... G

    Hello,

    nice buckles here shown !

@ Gwar , your newest pick up buckle looks similar to other Assmann PP buckles ........

But the maker from the first you shown is furthermore questionable.........

I hold myself this variation in my collection but can't found any coincidences with makers on it .......

Only the prongs IMO not enough to make out this maker . The prongs can also be supplier parts .

Here two different PP-RAD from my collection :

@ Yellow 12.. Thanks for the reply... I agree insomuch as to the different
styles of construction and the similarities regarding the manufacturing
process. Some tool markings on the prong bar may be a sign though.
I have attached some better photos... Again thanks and good talking to you again..G
