Great buckles, Markus. It is nice to have the brocade, as well as the leather belt.
Wouldn't you want it to be Santa Claus everyday? Now you should convince mrs.
Markus to buy such things for you!!

RAD material most often was indicated by the year of manufacturing, so 1936 and 1937.
This is according the regulation-order: addendum 15c, Berlin February 25, 1936, which says:
the manufacturer has to stamp on the inside of the belt-buckle, the manufacturer's-indication
and the both last numbers for the year of manufacturing
(Seitens des Herstellers ist das Leibriemenschloss auf seiner Innenseite mit dem Firmenzeichen
und den beiden letzten Ziffern der Jahreszahl der Herstellung deutlich lesbar zu stempeln).

Regards the differences: it is possible there were complaints the edge for the 1936 version was
to sharp (and by that damaged either the uniform or the belt) and for that reason the rounder edge was made for 1937. With regularity new dies were needed while the old one (upper or lower dye) did break or the buckle was further adapted to new manufacturing standards.

Maybe there are differences with the buckles from 1938 and later. Have no samples, but this could be possible (this is my personal guess)!!
