Original M42 helmet in bad shape. Some collectors like battlefield damage helmets. Such helmets do not have the real market value, some of us think it is just a junk but for some collectors this helmet may be also 100% genuine battlefield found relic. At least it is original and not a fake. So it is very hard to tell the fair price.

Honestly, i would never buy a relic in such bad shape. I like complete relics, with at least a liner ring.

I think almost all of us started with a relic helmet. I did, it was my first German helmet.
This one is a great starter piece and a good conversation theme.

If you like it, buy it.
