The paint makes a ring around where the rivet should be. This shows that the helmet was painted when it was "complete". The paint also appears to reflect the same condition as the shell. In my opinion there is a good chance that this helmet could be an authentic wartime camo. Let's wait and see what others say.

I agree it looks like a legitimate one. If I was to label it I'd say it to be one of those geometric 'atlantic wall' camo's.

Thanks for the info! looks like the same or similar one. bought it with another lw relic a Q66 helmet no decal with liner and an ET64 helmet without leather and decals. all look good to me. but I was wondering about this camo relic
