    Default Fj m38 shell relic

Hallo guys, I'm waiting my last purchase from Canada's collector.
It was find some years ago in Normandy, near Carentan (Beoumont) together 5 Fallschirmjager shell.
It's rusty but has still a good visible eagle and some original paint remains.
Rivets are original to the helmet; size is ET 68.
I think it's possible to clean eagle with oxalic just a little.
When it arrives I'll posted a new better pics!
    Cheers

Looks like a great relic. I am sure the whole helmet could be improved with Oxalic acid if you wished.

    Cheers, Ade.

    Nice helmet

I use to have a relic just like It,I cleaned It up while I was in Poland with a product called FOSOL.It contains oxalic acid but its not as harmful and 100% safer.Im sure you could find a similar product in Italy. If you choose to use oxalic acid,Just be carful!
    Regards

Here therefore arrived from Canada safe and sound! In hand it is much best that in photo and I must say that it is all original; rivetsi are its like also all the lock nuts; there is still much original paint; border is with classic the unmistakable threading left from the machine and all' inner conserve still original paint; moreover the weight is right!. Size is ET 68. It could be still cleaned up, while I try to still pull outside decal with oxalic.
    It's nice original Fallschirmjager shell!!!
