Heer single decal M42 relic

This relic helmet has been offered to me. It is an M42 single decal, and the decal is in bad shape. No liner or chinstrap.
How much do you guys think this will be worth??

A guess - about $250/$300, if original.

Strange though, the paint - if it's actually the original finish - is pretty much intact
on the outside, but totally gone inside ............I'd be suspicious !

The colour seems too dark to me in the photos too, so better pictures
are needed with a close-up of the remains of the decal.
It looks like a size small - 62 ?

If it has been 'made -up', I'd say $50 to $100.

I'd wait for a few more ideas on this one.

There are some guys who know a lot about these helmets and decals.
I am not sure about it being real, is why I say this.
As a repainted relic shell it is not worth too much....

Could you get better pictures,but 350$ is too high.for 100$ more you could get a very nice one.For one like this 150 to 200$.
