Lets clean some helmets!

Hi all! Here i have 7 helmets that i will clean in the next few days. Hope you all enjoy the thread. I just boutht a new phone and the pic quaility is shit.
NONE OF THESE ARE FOR SALE, DONT ASK!



1. A rusty old M16 used post war, i can see some paint




2. Bad M35 with a hole and remains of the right decal



3. M40 with remains of the liner and a strange paint (not postwar)



4. M40 with some paint



5. M33 with quite lot of paint, i think i see a freggio on the front



6. A very bad M40, not sure if its worth cleaning



7. M-something hit by a shrapnel, i dont know what is wrong with my phone

What cleaning technique do you plan on using?

They're all quite 'salty' ; I for one will be interested to see how they scrub up.....

Nope i dont have it, i use lemon acid and linseed oil. All the helmets will lose the oil shine in a few days.

Oh yes, and a panzershreck shield.

1. The M16 turned out... better. Will oil the inside too.



2. Looks like we have a M35 SS SD with green and red/orange camo.

picture quality is rubbish would of sufficed but besides 10 out of 10 on your relic restorations, the before and after pictures speak for themselves
