    Hi, guys!

I bought this M35 from a collector in Rio Grande do Sul. He tell me it came from a collector from Netherlands in 2012 and was found in 2009 in Arnhem.

Have no visible markings (is this normal by the rust?)

    What do you think?

    Thanks

A nice early ( non-reinforced liner band by the looks of it ) M35 with a decent amount of crispy liner left.
Is there any trace of a decal on the left side?

The stamps were not that deep and this degree of corrosion can make it hard to find or read any that are left.

    Cheers, Dan

It would make a good display, but be careful in the humid condition you have in Brasil, it can quickly make your collection corrode more.

Hi, thanks for the answers! I guess is a remaning faded Heer decal,maybe... (?)

I'm searching for a little of silica to keep him dry in a plastic bag. What more can be useful?

That rust looks very dark (i.e. inactive) to me. I can't think a bit of humidity will give it too much grief. Keeping it wrapped up in a plastic bag kind of defeats the purpose of having it in the first place n'est ce pas?

Better to have such treasure on DISPLAY!!

Hi, Glenn! What means ("inactive rust")?

    Thanks

it means it will not get worse.

Rust that is not getting worse. When a dark colour you can be reasonably sure the oxidation has stopped or it at least very slow. Red rust is active and nibbling away at your metal bits.
