I'm no ballistics expert but it looks like a bullet entry, if the guy was wearing the helmet at the time it would have been through the temple area!..

I got to admit with the new pics I think it looks like a bullet entry as well, though we can never know when or if some was wearing it at the time. Still nice lid indeed.

Need more help with this helm people. Can you make out the maker? I could if it was an M40, but i have no clues in M35s.
