M40 id

G'day all, just for curiosity's sake i wondered if any one could identify the maker of my new M40? i was thinking Quist? any ideas?

+1 Quist, vents give it away. The slightly shallower slope of the beginning of the skirt at the side is a good indicator too.

Any chance at getting shots of the inside? Looks good for a relic...how solid is the shell? I too think Quist made...

Yes i am Dave i have it in a vinegar bath as we speak. I haven't tried it before so fingers crossed, it already has a few pinholes in the dome i just hope they don't multiply!
